Privacy Policy

Stagez ("we", "us") operates the artist listing platform at stagez.in. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

When you create an account and artist profile we collect:

• Account data — email address, name, optional Google account info.
• Profile data — bio, city, performance category, photos, social links.
• Event data — event names, dates, venues, ticket links you enter.
• Payment data — subscription plan and billing status. Card details are held entirely by Razorpay; we never see or store raw card numbers.
• Usage data — anonymised page view counts on your public profile.

• To display your public artist profile to visitors.
• To process subscription payments via Razorpay.
• To send transactional emails (payment receipts, subscription alerts) via Resend.
• To show you your profile view analytics in the dashboard.
• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and Terms violations.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use it for advertising.

Your data is shared only with the following processors who help us deliver the service:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
• Razorpay — payment processing and subscription management.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Vercel — web application hosting.

Each processor is contractually required to handle your data only as directed by us.

Your artist profile (name, bio, city, photos, events, social links) is publicly visible at your Stagez URL while your subscription is active. If you cancel or your subscription lapses, your page is hidden from the public but your data is retained in our database for 90 days before permanent deletion, so you can reactivate easily.

We use a small number of cookies strictly necessary to operate the service:

• Authentication session — keeps you logged in (httpOnly, secure).
• View debounce cookie — prevents counting the same visit twice within 24 hours (httpOnly, expires in 24 h).

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

We retain your account and profile data as long as your account is active. After you delete your account we permanently remove all personal data within 30 days, except payment records that we are required to retain for 7 years under Indian financial regulations.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data (via your profile settings).
• Delete your account and all associated data.
• Export your profile data (contact us).

To exercise any of these rights email us at support@stagez.in. We will respond within 30 days.

We protect your data using industry-standard measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), Row Level Security on our database so each artist can only see their own data, and httpOnly session cookies. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable precautions and will notify you promptly in the event of a data breach.

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you by email and update the effective date at the top. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
